Simple instructions on how to install Raspbian on a Raspberry Pi with SSH enabled by default.
- Download Raspbian or NOOBS
- Download Etcher (Mac) (If you don’t decide to download NOOBS)
- Load Raspbian onto your Sim card via Etcher/NOOBS
- Create an empty file with the name “ssh”
touch ssh
- Move the empty “ssh” file onto the root of the Sim card with Raspbian installed
- Pop that sim card into your Raspberry Pi! Done!
Here are the default login credentials for Raspbian:
username: pi password: raspberry
